The Capital of Latvia and largest city in Baltics  is  historic, diverse and inspiring European city. Riga is more than 800 years old. Central part of Riga is included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage list. Since 2004, Latvia is a member country of European Union, and since 2007 – a member of Schengen area.

The VENUE – Academic Center for Natural Sciences (Dabaszinātņu Akadēmiskais Centrs, abbreviated as DAC)

Addresss: Jelgavas iela 1.

It is located on the left bank of river Daugava , not far from the Old Town of Riga.

There are situated Faculties of Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences, Medicine (pharmacology and biochemistry study programs), as well as the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Optometry.
